There's a sizable difference in the console and PC gameplay from what I understand.

I'm on PC. Looks better, plays better, mods much much better.
Scott, the game isn't really about swinging weapons or aim, more about the story and tactics. Story is great once you get into the meat of the game. (although i do skip a lot of cutscenes) I didn't like many RPG's but Bioware is good stuff.
I'm not going to be done before Mass Effect 2, but I'm going to put a solid effort in this weekend. Wife is down in Florida so I have a few nights to get my nerd on.
Terry, you play with the DA toolset yet?
Dragon Age Return to Ostagar DLC out now, Mass Effect 2 (getting PC version) in 12 days, and Dragon Age Awakenings Expansion in March. Add in Forza 3 and CoD:MW42 (360) and I'm loaded up.

got this a few days ago and i love it. only thing is, i thought there was something of a learning curve, specifically with the tactics. im a good ways in and im just getting the hang of everything like combos.
I will say tho that i started w/ a warrior and i had to start over w/ a mage. dont know if i was being too impatient w/ the warrior but the mage seems easier and more fun to me

No I haven't. I'm about to get back into it. I stopped playing the OC just before Christmas. Been playing music alot lately. But I'm thinking of playing some games this weekend.
Might even take the shrink wrap off the Age of Conan I got last spring for my birthday. Just to play the free month and have something to do. I've got an MMO itch lately but I'm afraid to pull the trigger.
I hope enough custom modules are created with the toolset like with Neverwinter nights. I modded alot with that.

Surprisingly, there's not many decent DAO mods out there. Mostly odd items and failed areas to try and include more stuff in camp. I think a lot of people (like on dragonagenexus) discourage anything that goes too far off what the original devs would have intended. Except for nudity of course, there's like a million t-n-a mods.
I'm going to break the toolset out tonight and see if I can mod some items and armor for fun.

Made a few items last night. Most are within the intent of the game, except this one. Go Colts!

HaHa! Nice Ring! Hopefully we can get another one! Ya know, for the "end game" content.
